Exploring Yorkshire Dialect

We've enjoyed two of the Yorkshire Dialect Club get-togethers so far at Honley Library. Participants have been learning about the differences between accent and dialect, the origins of the Yorkshire dialect and have been trying their hand at listening, speaking, reading and writing in Yorkshire dialect.

We've had so much positive feedback from the club participants so far and we'll report back on our progress in a few weeks.
